Besides aviation, composite materials gain more and more attention in other branches of transportation, such as in the construction of modern rail vehicles.

In 2001, AEROCONCEPT executed repair works on the fairing of a diesel traction unit of the Talent 643/644 series for the first time.

The repair is done by experienced, mobile teams, usually consisting of aircraft technicians, in the facilities of the train operators.

As well as trains of major companies as German Rail (DB), the Austrian Federal Railways (ÖBB) and the Hungarian State Railways (MÁV), vehicles of numerous other regional operators have been repaired.
