Since September 2004 Aeroconcept GmbH has an approval as Part 145 repair shop for gliders, powered gliders and parts and components in fiber-reinforced plastic (FRP) constructions by the Federal Aviation Office acc. EC Regulation No 2042/2003, with the approval number DE.145.0272. On this basis Aeroconcept is allowed to perform maintenance, modifications, and repairs on all civil, European registered aircraft, including so-called "significant repairs on critical parts" in terms of the approved Scope of Work.
Since March 2009, the Aeroconcept GmbH also has a permission from the Federal Aviation Office as a Continuing Airworthiness Management Organisation (CAMO)
under the EC Regulation No 216/2008, with the approval number DE.MG.0272. This allows the company to review the airworthiness according to the new European rules of the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) applying to all European registered civil gliders, motor gliders, and aircraft up to 750 kg take-off mass and to issue Airworthiness Review Certificates (ARC).
